A View allows users to see a set of records in a Collection. The View defines how the list of records in the upper portion of the Collection tab is displayed or even which records are displayed. Each Collection can have multiple Views that display different sets of records and different column headings.

When an Author creates a Collection, a default View is created automatically. It is configured to display all records within the collection and uses the basic or standard properties fields as the column headings for the records list. The default View is named after the Collection.

Only the Author of an Application can create a new View and edit or delete an existing View.
