Copying Actions

You can copy an existing action as a starting point for a new Action, or as a way of testing out some changes you want to make to the existing action before editing it directly.

To copy an Action:

  1. Go to the Collection tab where you want to add the Action. Make sure Author Mode is turned on.
  2. Click the Wrench icon in the top-center of the page above the Collection's view.
  3. Select Actions and then select the name of the Action that you want to Copy.
  4. Select Copy. The Copy Action dialog will open.


  5. Select the Target Account , Application and Collection to which the Action should be copied. You should be able to select anything to which you have been granted authoring permission. 



  6. Enter a name for the new copy in the Target Action Name box.
  7. Click OK.
  8. To edit the Action you copied, go to the collection where you made the copy.
