As an Author, you have the ability to copy Applications that have already been built in Coghead. Copying an Application will create copies of the following:

• Collections
• Forms
• Views
• Actions
• Data (records) Copying an Application WILL copy any of the permission settings.Once you have made a copy, you can customize the Application to your needs.

Copying an Application from the Account Management Page

1. Locate the Application that you would like to copy. You can copy an application from any account or directory that you have access to.
2. Select the Application by clicking on the name. The application name will be highlighted.
   
   
   
   
   
   
3.  Click on the cog icon   underneath the Applications tab. From the displayed drop-down menu, click Copy . The Copy Application dialog box is displayed. The Source Account Name is populated with the current active Account or Directory and the Source Application Name is populated with the Application that you have selected.
   
   
   
4. Specify where you want the copy of the Application placed in the Target Account Name field.  Use the drop-down list to view the Accounts. 
5. Specify how you want the copy of the Application to be named in the New Application Name field.
6. Click Ok when finished. If you do not want to proceed with copying the Application, click Cancel .
   
   
   
   
   The Copy Application dialog disappears.
   
7. When you go back to the Home Page, you can click on the arrow next to the account you placed the copy of the Application.  Notice that the copy of the Application with the name that you specified has been created in the Account.  Launch the application to view it or make changes to it.
   
   

From within an Application

From the wrench icon on the right side of the application name, select Copy.
