Adding a New Application
The following section describes the first steps in creating a new application in Coghead. The steps will lead you through creating a new, blank Application where you can begin to add Collections, a Form, custom Actions, and custom Views. There are two ways to create a new Application in Coghead:
- From the Home Page Only those with Administrator or Author privileges in an Account can create new applications.
- From the Account Management Page
- From within the Application
From the Home Page
- On the right hand side of the page, you will see a section titled Quick Start. Click on the link Create a new application. You will then be prompted to name your application.

- On the My Accounts and Application section of the Home Page, click on the arrow next to your Account Name and you will be able to see all the Applications created under that Account.

From the Account Management Page
From the Account Management Page, on the Application tab, there are two ways to create a new application.
- Click on the New button above the application list.

- Click on the More button above the application list and select New.

- On the form, provide the name of your application and a description of your application (if needed).

- Click Save.

- While the application name is highlighted, click on the Launch Application action button to access your application.

Application names of 20 characters or less are recommended
On the drop down list next to the application name, you will see the new Application added to your list.

From within an Application
From the within the application, in the Account drop down list, select Manage Account, select Application. This will take you back to the Application tab in the Account Management Page.
