To set the visibility of an action so that it is hidden from non-author users:

1. Go to the Collection tab where you want to set action visibility. Make sure Author Mode is turned on.
2. Click the Wrench icon in the top-center of the page above the Collection's view.
3. Select Actions and then select the name of the Action that you want to hide or display. By default all actions are shown to users.
   
4. Click on Set Visibility, the Set Action Visibility dialog will appear.
   
5. Check the Hide Actions From Users checkbox and click OK .

Now when you look at the action menu when author mode is turned off this action will not be displayed as a selectable option. If an author looks at the action menu with author mode turned on they will be able to see and run the action.
