Local grids not exporting (or searchable)
Hi Mike,
The default export action will not pull data out of a local grid. It only exports the view data when you run this function and views are not able to display all of the rows in a local grid. We are working on a new version of the Excel Add-in and also a new Word Add-in that will allow you to pull data out of local grids. Paying customers also have the ability to use our API to pull data out of Coghead, this includes the ability to pull data out of a local grid.
Can you please re-test text search, I found that I was able to use both Text search and Advanced QBE searching for data within a local grid. If you use Advanced QBE you will have to match the entire string of text for the search to find the value. One possibility is that perhaps you were trying accidently trying to search a linked grid, in that case text search and the Advanced QBE search will not work.

Description of Issue:
It looks like data in a local grid is NOT exported when the enclosing collection is exported. Is this correct? Is there any way to externally reference data in a local grid?
It also appears as if text search does not include data in a local grid. Any way to work around this?
