The Applications tab and Permissions tab in the Account Management Page allows Account Administrators to set individual Application access permissions. In addition, Authors can create, copy, delete, import, export and version Applications. Instead of creating an application from scratch, Coghead also provides a group of pre-made Application templates to start from which can be copied over from the Gallery.

Account Administrators and the Account Management Page

Account Administrators can set Application level permissions from the Account Management  Page. Application level permissions grants users access to certain Applications at five different levels:

• Create - This allows Users to create new records. There is no Create authoring permission at the Application level since the Application has already been created before Application level permissions can be set.

• Read – This allows Authors and Users to view the selected Application. If not set, Users will not be able to launch the Application from the Admin Console and Authors will not be able to enter Author mode for this Application.

• Update – This allows an Author to modify the Application, this includes creating Collections and forms, editing Views or customizing Actions. The Update permission grants Users the ability to edit records existing.

• Delete – This allows Authors to permanently delete Applications from the Application List or Users the ability to delete records from a Collection's record list.

• Admin - This allows Administrators to grant groups the ability to set Author and User permissions for this Application which may affect other account users.

• Create New Application – This allows Authors to create an Application from scratch.

• Add Application from Gallery – Coghead provides several premade Application templates which Authors can copy to their Accounts from the Gallery.

• Delete –This allows Authors to delete unwanted Applications from the Account. Deleted Applications are removed from the Application list.

• Copy – This allows Authors to create a copy of their Application with a different name. Authors can also copy their Applications from personal accounts to multi-user accounts.

• Import and Export – These actions allow Authors the ability to create backups of their Applications on their computers. Also, Authors can transfer Applications between unlinked personal and multi-user accounts.

 In addition to these actions, Authors can also manage an Application's version and upgrade Applications from prototypes to production.
