We have a feature that will be available after tonight's maintenance window for conditional styling that allows you to establish whether a field is visible or not. Once this is available, try it out. It should meet your needs.
Once linked combo field is not editable upon condition, link stops working: Link should still bring you to original record, system should not allow you to change the value (this part works)
Just to make sure I understand so I can log the bug correctly, the link breaks while in user mode whereby the user of the application can no longer click on the cog icon to switch to the record in another collection. Do I understand this correctly?
This is working now:
If a linked combo box field is not editable upon a condition, the user cannot changes the selection, but can click on the link to get to the original record.
Is there a way to make field protected/not editable on condition?
Example: if priority is greater than 10, do not allow to change customer field
