Would you like to share the applications that you built on Coghead with other users? Now you can!

What is a multi-user account?

In a multi-user account, you will be able to invite users to use your applications. Coghead allows you to invite new users, including existing members, and those who are brand new to Coghead. As the account administrator, you will have the ability to control user access to the applications in your account by inviting users, assigning them author or end-user roles, and deleting them from the account.

You will be able to invite up to five (5) users to a trial multi-user account.

How is a multi-user account created?

To add your first multi-user account, in the Admin tab, click the Add a new multi-user account button and follow the instructions.

To add additional multi-user accounts, in the Admin tab, click the Add multi-user account link from the Select Account drop-down list and follow the instructions.

The multi-user account will be created as a separate account from your existing single-user, personal account.

What are the known issues?

While testing this functionality, please note that:

  • By default, users invited to the multi-user account will have access to use all of the applications in that account.
We are still perfecting application-level permissions which will enable you to restrict users' access to specific applications within an account.
  • Currently, users invited to the multi-user account will have access to active prototype versions of applications until an active production version is created.
If there is no active production version of an application, users will have access to use the active prototype version of that application. In the future, users will only have access to active production versions of applications. In the meantime, remember that any applications you add to your multi-user account will immediately be available to users.
